Brief Description

This course is a training program designed to prepare individuals for the written and practical exams required to obtain a Commercial Driver's License. It covers the theoretical aspects of driving a commercial vehicle, such as traffic laws, safety regulations, vehicle inspections, hours-of-service rules, logbook management, and defensive driving techniques. It prepares students for the CDL written exams. Hands on training will include a CDL driving simulator which is a training tool that uses computer-generated environments and realistic controls to replicate the experience of driving a commercial vehicle.
